This past weekend I got the chance to take my next level SCUBA course.  There were some great wins, but there were also some learning opportunities.  I didn’t know what I didn’t know, and thanks to a great teacher I had a great day anyway.  BUT I COULD have gotten myself into a lot of trouble if I’d just decided to go diving by myself that day without a teacher or experienced dive buddy.

This came to mind this past week as I listened to some new clients tell me the story of how they got so scared of mold they started ripping out walls in their house.  Fortunately, one of their family members had taken the Organic Acids test, and we were able to determine what the real problem was – clostridia, part of the family of “c. diff” if you’ve ever heard those ugly words spoken!  It’s not good, and it is important and urgent to treat right away.  And in the meantime, they could stop tearing their house apart.

In my case, I was on the verge of doing the analogy of something similar in the dive world, but thankfully I had an amazing DiveMaster (these people are truly unsung heroes!) and I had a SAFE and INSTRUCTIVE dive, ensuring many happy waters in my future.

Review from last time about Organic Acids:

The Organic Acids test is one of my favorite tests to help eliminate some of those blind spots.  Here’s what it does that’s so cool.

  1. Identify nutrient deficiencies: Organic acid testing can help identify nutrient deficiencies in the body, such as vitamin B12, magnesium, and zinc, which can lead to a range of health problems.
  2. Detect metabolic imbalances: The test can detect metabolic imbalances caused by genetic factors or environmental factors such as stress, poor diet, and exposure to toxins.
  3. Identify gut dysbiosis: Organic acid testing can identify imbalances in gut bacteria, which can lead to digestive problems, autoimmune diseases, and other health issues.
  4. Identify mitochondrial dysfunction: The test can identify mitochondrial dysfunction, which can cause fatigue, muscle weakness, and other symptoms.
  5. Monitor treatment progress: Organic acid testing can be used to monitor the effectiveness of treatments for nutrient deficiencies, metabolic imbalances, and gut dysbiosis.
  6. Personalized treatment plans: The test results can be used to develop personalized treatment plans that address the specific imbalances and deficiencies identified in the test.

Here’s a short video on Organic Acids.  This test is just $350, and you can schedule it at your next appointment.  Or just email me at office@longevitywc.com and let me know you’d like to book this.

Video Testimonial on Knee Pain!

I LOVE knees.  They are so important in our mobility, and Louise Hay describes them as the physical manifestation that occurs when there’s some energy or limiting thought of ours trying to hold us back.  They are the holographic representation of the digestive system, and they are intricately tied to the muscles in our hips, lower back, and pelvic floor.  In short – they’re COMPLICATED, and even a bit MYSTERIOUS – and yet they do so much for us.  They’re worth getting to know, as a practitioner…or even as a person who has kees!  LOL!

So it really meant a lot to me when I got to treat our very own Chuck Pisa, Esoteric Healer & Energy Worker, for knee pain!  He talks about it, and how 90% of his pain resolved after just a couple of treatments in the video below.  Yay!
