Hello. I’m Dr. Denise Baker and I’m coming to you today from Longevity Wellness Clinic. I would like to invite you to sit down with us for a few minutes. Let’s talk about the concept of dermal fillers.
I will give you a general introduction and then we will take some time in other shots to actually talk about specific fillers. The reason we actually bring this to our patients is because we are interested in all of our clients looking as good as they feel.
We see people coming in and asking questions, sitting down for a consult to say, “I don’t look as good as I feel,” and we see this for women and men in their 40s. We actually see it at times even more so as the decades tend to slip away.
We want the vibrancy and your enthusiasm, the joy in your heart and the knowledge behind your eyes to really be able to shine through.
When we start to show the signs of aging, we want to help you so that those signs of aging don’t write histories on your face and your friends, your relatives, your business partners and your social friends are not able to read your past life.
So dermal fillers are a substance that we place under the skin to lift the skin up. Remember all the things that we notice as we get into our 20s, our 30s, 40s or 50s and then 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s are natural change that occurs with natural progressive chronologic aging.
It is also determined by our genes and the bone structure and the skin structure that we inherited from our mama’s people and from our papa’s people. So as we change with chronologic age, we also change with our genetic age and our genealogical age.
So as the skull itself tends to rotate and we lose bone, bone is resorbed as we change with our age, as we lose that beautiful, fat layer underneath our skin and as the skin loses its resiliency, its bounce, its ability to spring back, the skin tends to come down. Gravity always wins and the skin shows the effect of the volume loss.
Many times the first time someone will talk to me about something, we will talk about the parentheses. That’s a common phrase for this portion that tends to be lined out.
Parentheses are normal and think about if you have babies in your environment or little ones or look back at their pictures, when they smile, they actually do form a line there, the parentheses line.
That’s a natural occurrence but it shouldn’t really be present when your face is relaxed and as we lose more of the support of the skin on both sides, we tend to form a line there.
The next thing that people will notice is sometimes their eyebrows tend to be lower. They have some extra skin over their eyes or they start to show some puppet lines.
All of these things are from volume loss. So when a client comes in, they will sit down with a consult and talk about what dermal fillers would be appropriate for you with your health history and your specific needs.
We also talk about the safety and the risk profile to make sure we pick the safest and the best natural product for you and for your social downtime.
So, when you come in, we will actually talk about what the options for fillers are and how they can be used. We will show you photos of other patients and clients that have been treated and we will discuss what is best for you and make sure we have that product ready when you’re ready to come in.
Sit down with us and have the ultimate experience of having the best episode of filler rejuvenation to your skin. Thank you.
